Degreed Aviator in Two Action-Packed Years

A North-Aire Aviation partnership with Yavapai College enables aspiring aviators to earn a two-year Associate of Applied Science degree in Aviation Technology (AAS-AVT).

Ground preparation and in-air training for the Airplane Operations concentration is conducted at the North-Aire Aviation flight training center. Area Studies and other General Education requirements are taught at Yavapai College facilities.

The AAS-AVT in Airplane Operations is issued by Yavapai College to students successfully completing the partnership’s air and ground curriculum approved by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The FAA grants Airplane Operations licenses, certifications, and ratings upon students’ mastery of written, oral and practical examinations.
