Certified Flight Instructor (CFI)

Entrance Requirements

• Age: Student must be 18 year of age.
• Education: Student must be able to speak, read and understand the English language.
• Medical: Student must hold at least a current second-class medical certificate.
• Ratings and Certificates required: Students must hold at least a valid Commercial Pilot Certificate with an airplane category rating, an Instrument Rating and Single Engine Land Class Rating
• This course takes approximately 2 to 3 months to complete.^*

Certified Flight Instructor Instrument (CFII)

Entrance Requirements

• Age: Student must be 18 years of age.
• Education: Student must be able to read, speak and understand the English language.
• Medical: Student must hold at least a current second class medical certificate
• Ratings and Certificate required: Students must hold a valid Commercial Pilot Certificate and Instrument Rating (airplane) and a valid Flight Instructor Certificate (airplane).
• This course takes approximately 4 weeks to complete.^*

Multi-Engine Instructor (MEI)

Entrance Requirements

• Age: Student must be 18 years of age.
• Education: Student must be able to read, speak and understand the English language.
• Medical: Student must hold at least a current second-class medical certificate
• Ratings and Certificates required: Students must have a Multi-engine Land Class Rating on their Commercial Pilot Certificate and must hold a valid Flight Instructor Certificate (airplane).
• This course takes approximately 2 weeks to complete.^*
